Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 17 October 2026
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It exists to keep Yasenza — and your WhatsApp number — safe. Breaching it puts your number at risk of being banned and may result in suspension.
1. What Yasenza is for
Yasenza is for organizations communicating with their own communities: members, congregants, residents, parents, teams, and similar groups who expect to hear from you. It is a scheduling and reliability tool, not a mass-marketing or cold-outreach tool.
2. Permitted use
- Scheduling announcements, reminders, notices and event communications to WhatsApp groups your organization runs.
- Messaging recipients who are members of your community and reasonably expect your communications.
- Content you are entitled to send and that complies with the law.
3. Prohibited use
You must not use Yasenza to:
- send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages (spam), or cold-market to people who are not part of your community;
- send unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually exploitative content, or content that infringes others’ rights;
- distribute malware, phishing, or scam content;
- impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- harvest, buy, sell, or message purchased contact lists or numbers;
- attempt to evade sending limits, anti-abuse controls, or per-account rate caps;
- use Yasenza in a way that violates WhatsApp/Meta’s terms beyond ordinary community messaging, or that could reasonably be expected to trigger platform-wide harm.
4. WhatsApp compliance & ban-risk acknowledgment
You acknowledge that automated WhatsApp use carries an inherent risk of rate-limiting, suspension, or a permanent ban of the number, and that Yasenza cannot guarantee against this. You agree to use gentle, community-appropriate sending volumes and to keep within the limits of your plan. Sending limits and pacing are applied for your protection and must not be circumvented.
5. Your dedicated number
You must supply and control the WhatsApp number linked to your account, and we strongly recommend a dedicated number used only for community communication. One number is linked to exactly one Yasenza account. You are responsible for the number and its content.
6. Fair use & limits
Even on “unlimited” plans, fair-use and anti-ban caps apply (for example, a maximum number of group sends per day per number). We may adjust these limits to protect the platform and will act reasonably in doing so.
7. Enforcement
Where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may issue a warning, throttle or suspend sending, suspend or terminate the account, and — for serious or repeated breaches — do so without refund. We may act immediately where necessary to protect the platform or other customers, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
8. Reporting abuse
